Practice 5: The Child Reads After the Parent Then Takes the Words Out and Looks At the Images Carefully. The Child Imagines the Images Herself/Himself

 

Step 1: Before playing, all the puzzle pieces are placed onto the corresponding cutouts on a GeniusKIDDY board.

Step 2: The parent points at the word on each puzzle piece, reads it aloud, and asks the child to repeat it. Each word is read several times. Then the child takes the puzzle pieces out of the board and looks at the images carefully. The child would be very interested in the images and could imagine the images himself/herself.

Continue until all words are taken out.

 

Step 3: Praise and applaud.

 

Step 4: The parent asks the child to put the words onto the board. Each time, they read the words loudly again several times.

Continue until all words are put onto the board.

 

Step 5: Praise and applaud.

Note:

Looking at an image without explaining it help the child to imagine his/her own way; This helps to develop children’s imagination abilities
