Practice  6: The Child Takes the Words Out of the Board, Explains the Images Herself/Himself Then Put the Words Into the Board

Step 1: Before playing, all the puzzle pieces are placed onto the corresponding cutouts on a GeniusKIDDY board.

Step 2: The child reads after his/her parent then takes the words out of the board and explains the images himself/herself. When explaining the image, the child has to use the word above the image. For example, “This is a baby.”

Continue until all words are taken out of the board.

Step 3: Praise and applaud

Step 4: The child puts the words into the board from left to right, top to bottom; reads the words out loud and explains the images again.

Continue until all words are put onto the board.

Step 5: Praise and applaud

Note:

Asking the child to explain the images is a way to help them to participate in the game, then remember the words more easily.
